fastest is Mercedes-Bens ML63 AMG 0-60 4.5sec and Cayenne Turbo S 0-60 4.7 sec

Oh thats right it would be because Porsche is paying to have them removed because the Jeep keeps taking the win...The Porsche is nice, however I will take my $110,000 and buy two Jeeps and have two vehicles faster than a $110,000 "so called" "Fast SUV" for the money the Jeep is a way better buy anyways, its American made and built. Keep the money here, that is where we need it. Let Porsche stick to cars.

The Jeep SRT8 is fast..True! and I love that. But its Not and SUV! it's a sports car with a SUV body bolted to it! the suspension was chopped and screwed, making suspension lowever and stiffer. Which makes this a waste of money for anything other then staight line runs!
I'll take a Cayenne any day, and have it sent to techart..... See you jeeps arounds the bends and on the other side of the trail ;D

Bottom line for all you srt luvers it's still a freakin jeep! If I could afford any suv WHY would you drive a dodge over a porche. You are probably the same people who would rather have a tuned up srt4 instead of a Ferrari cuz it goes faster. I say get lots of tail in a known sports car than go fast in a piece of junk.

i work on all of them jeep srt8 is the fastest. all jap, and euro. cars suck. and overpriced pis. they cost way to much for what they are.

the trailblazer SS with a turbo runs high 9's or low 10's look it up on you tube if u dont believe me. and american muscle is def better than euro pos

google the SRT 600 that will put alot of people to shame.

I could have bought any of these machines but I own the SRT8. Test drove them all. Stock, the Jeep beats the Cayenne hands-down 0-60. Look at the stats. With minor mods, it beats Porshe in the quarter mile as well. Top speed is reg'd. Take that off and the top on that baby is even better than the Cayenne twin turbo on top-speed (and without any annoying turbo lag!) Plus it just *sounds* better and rides better. Yes, the Porshe has slightly better slalom stats stock but in practice it is not an issue if you are at 63+MPH on that mark. *No* SUV is going to pull a G, folks. The ride and the electronics are better in the new Jeep as well. The rear seat DVD is a beauty and i-phone integration is perfect on the new nav.

And get this, with factory rebates, my Porche-killer cost me less than $43,000. This allows me to either buy a second one, or do as I have and mod the intakes, etc., and build a freaking incredible audio system with the savings.

Oh and let's not forget, German weinerschnizel lovers, Daimler boys from AMG were working in the SRT shop when these honeys got designed. SRT is the new "M", folks. Get used to it. Chrysler didn't do too bad at Daytona either, did they?

jeep srt8, hands down the fastest, meanest truck on the block. runs low 12s w/ only bolt-ons & a tune. cayenne & ml may catch up on the hwy.. but.. please move over to the right in the city.

I dont know what everyone here is talking about...My stock Jeep SRT8 used to do a 4.7 seconds to 60 and now with slight mods im running a 4.2 seconds...(intake, exhausts and a tuner)

If we take away Jeep GC srt-8, put Cadillac SRX in, against Infiniti FX 45, based on newcars.com, SRX from 0-60 estimaed 6.01 while FX 45 from 0-60 estimated 5.90.

2.cayenne turbo has highest top speed.
3.lambo suv will be fastest when it comes with a v10 petrol and v12 twin turbo diesel.
4.Bently suv will be second fastest with 6.0 litre w12 with 650hp.
5.Americans can't make cars for their life and that's why ford is loosing so much money.

Like most American "machines", the SRT-8 can only go fast in a straight line. A bus could do 0-60mls/h in under 5secs if it had a big enough engine. Bigger is NOT better...it's LAZY! The Cayenne Turbo S is quicker than a BMW M3 around a track. I have been in a Cayenne at 75mls/h in a side-ways 4-wheel drift. If the SRT-8 even smelt a bend on an airfield it would roll. The SRT-8 is a cheap knock-off of REAL sports utility vehicles. ;P
