Formula One Off to Surprising Start
The Formula One season is not going according to Ferrari's plan.
A lot of surprises were in store for the Formula-1 fans as the first two races of the new season saw Ferrari failing to continue their dominating form of last couple of years. Critics may claim this is due to the fact that the Italian Sports Car manufacturer has yet not launched their 2005 model car until now. The point remains that there is a new force emerging in the Formula-1, which might upstage Michael Schumacher and Ferrari for the first time in many years.
Spearheading this new generation of drivers is the Renault’s 23-year-old prodigy Fernando Alonso. Alonso became the youngest-ever driver to grab pole position and then finishing the race in third for his first-ever podium way back in the year 2001. And since then he has been leading the Renault’s efforts on the Formula-1 circuit.
