Porsche In Pakistan
Fast cars everywhere.
Porsche company is reportedly setting up showrooms in Pakistan after anticipating a market here. It is ironic that in a country where people are struggling to make ends meet, the elite is keen on buying the most expensive sports cars.

I am really moved with the effort of Porsche to make a market in south-east Asia in which Pakistan is situated. Literally, Pakistan has all the opportunities and strengths to make a company really successful, but Porsche should do something about the prices of cars as compared to the region becasue middle class has no potential to buy such an expensive car. Instead, they normally go for Suzuki or other such type of inexpensive vehicles and feed them with CNG.

it is really good to see that many companies are taking interest in investing in pakistan.it is for the betterment of our nation as more job oppertunities would arise and and in this way we can achieve economic prosperity.as more and more multi nationals are heading towards pakistan, this clearly indicates that a soft image of country is being developed in the world.

Just like US, China and India. Pakistan also has a poor class. Even though poverty levels are much better than its neighbors. At the same time Pakistan offers one of the best investment and growth opportunities in the world. Islamabad (capital city) is the first city in the region to get FTTH (fiber optics) service before China or India.
Not only Porsche but many multinational companies are investing in Pakistan. It is the gateway to Asia bordering with China and India and connecting them to the Middle East. That is THE place for strategic growth for any multi-national company.

Pakistan's economy and the stock market is on a fast track and there are tremendous opportunities to be explored. Porsche is smart enough to realize that and has made a very wise business decision. The question of rich and poor is a seperate issue and should be discussed in that context and based on its own merits. The so called elites of pakistan who are going to buy these cars will buy them anyway from some other place. Why not create a business opportunity and some jobs in your own country? If Bangladesh can provide a market for Porsche why not Pakistan?
