Honda Made My New Car
During the Chicago Auto Show this year Honda promised to give us this new Si at under $20K. We’ll see if they keept that promise. Sporting a 197HP, 8K redline engine with a 6 speed tranny and LSD… I’ve been looking at this car for a while, and I dont know how else to say it but wow. If indeed we see a price tag of 20k or under. This is basicly a new RSX type S, granted with a few poneys less but we’ve gained LSD.

I have had an Optra 2004
The car is absolutely worthless.
I have had the car for 2 years and it has been in the garage 15 times.
My children drive and I am now very worried every time they use it.
The Optra is not safe and no one should venture into one of these.
I've been trying to get out of a lease but it seems that I have to keep on putting money into a car that just never and I say never works well.
There is constantly something wrong with the car.

I'm leasing a 2004 Optra and would warn everyone to stay far, far away from purchasing or leasing one. Some of the little problems: little rust spots on the roof, hood and sides that the dealership claims aren't rust but "oxidization" (where did these guys go to school I wonder?). I've had it recalled for the same things listed in other postings and every six months it gets very creaky, I take it in they say they fix it but six months later it's there again and I take it in once more. Yes, it's all under warranty - I actually complained about the car so much (it was in the shop seven times in the first six months - two times were repeats because they "couldn't find the problem" the first time and when I took it back they discovered a bulletin released about that very thing), they extended the warranty to 5 years, a year past when my lease is up. But the inconvenience of having to take it in all the time is too much. The latest thing that happened was when my daughter and I were stranded because it was overheating - badly! I was one of those people pulled to the side of the road with the hood up and steam coming from it. Turns out it was the head gasket, a major thing and very expensive. Luckily with the warranty they give me a rental while the car's being fixed. It's been a week so far while they order the part, got the wrong one and have to order another. This car sucks and I can't wait until I return it in one year and seven months.

For the price that I paid about $20,000 CDN my Optra has performed fairly well. At 106,000 klms till now the only problems I have had were: brake lamp switch recall and reprogram the computer with updated idle peramiters. The car is great on gas about 650 klms per 50 litres with mixed hwy city driving. The only thing I hate about it is the poor handling. Too much body roll and it. The suspension needs more stiffness.

I have had a Chev Optra for the past 7 months...2004 LS. No serious problems, yet. But, I did have to have the clock replaced...and that was under warranty. More annoying than troublesome. So far, so good...

I have a 2004 chev optra. If u have this car, u should sell now. Never have I seen a car that has so many problems. I have had many recalls, not to mention the electrical problems. Not worth the money. The only good thing about the car is the fact that u can drop the needle to about 220 kph.
