Toyota Camry Hybrid
If you're a fast car driver looking at hybrids, here's a good review of the Toyota Camry HybridMost of the features in the Toyota Camry Hybrid are available in some form in the other models of Camry, or in other non-Toyota cars, so quite a bit of this post applies to every new Camry, or even every new Toyota. But the hybrid drive is what makes this car special.

I haven't owned or driven an economy car for over 30+yrs.,much less Hybrid of any kind. Always been a Heavy Duty truck or Volvo owner. I purchased my Fully loaded W/Nav."08" Camry Hybrid on Sept. 20. I have driven it on a daily basis for over a month and have been amazed with the performance and fuel eonomy. I took my first short trip into the Rocky mountains and drove at the normal speed limit and handling was very good. The acceleration was much better than I thought. I wasn't disappointed even after driving my Volvo S60 Turbo. The ride was very smooth. I like the leg room in the front and back seat area which is hard to find. I have a total of 2,500 miles at the present and live and drive in the Colorado Mountain Region where there are a lot of steep grades and I have averaged 34.8 miles per gal. The negative things are the Navigation is a little hard to figure out. Could be I am new! A couple blind spots in the rear.Trunk space is somewhat ltd. due to the battery location. I have the push button keyless Ignition and it was a little difficult to tell when it is in the (On position).. Most of the negatives are small disadvantages.I am very happy with my Camry Hybrid and I really enjoy driving it. It's a very nice looking car and it get's a lot af attention.
