You can save a lot of time and fuel by making a list of questions to ask when buying a used car, and phoning around before you drive. In part three of my used car buying tips article series, I covered the topics of organized note taking during phone interviews, rust awareness, and problems the owner may have knowledge of concerning their own car. In this part I’ll go over some specific mechanical aspects which are typical problem areas with used cars.

In Changchun, the Audi 6 is probably the most popular luxury car, usually in black complete with blacked out windows. Also I am seeing more and more Japanese 4×4s, especially the gold coloured Lexuses (lexi?) and lots more Hondas.

I’m not going to beat around the bush here: I like sports cars and I like pushing them to the limit! As you might expect, I’ve had more than my share of run-ins with the police.
