one of my favorite cars to rent is the Hunday Sonata. It is good on gas, yet it has a powerful V6. With a leather interior it would be a kick-ass compact sport sedan.

We wrote earlier about the possibility of a street racing circuit in Delhi as early as 2009. The project is supported by F1 supremo Bernie, The Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dixit and the Indian Richard Branson, Vijay Mallya.

Like a fighter jet it banks into turns, the rear section staying level but the body and front wheel leaning into the bend. Anyway, the main reason for bloggage today was to mention Jay’s new found love, inititiated by my purchase of F1 magazine. There was a teeny-tiny reference to a a new TV series coming out in the UK, created by the fine creators of Bob the Builder and narrated by Stirling Moss…yes, narrated by Stirling Moss. The show is called Roary the Racing Car and features a single open wheel race car, Roary, as the main character.

Zhongxing has a U.S. partner in Chamco, with plans to introduce a line of sports utility vehicles in this country early in 2008. Currently Great Wall exports to Russia with plans to expand into Eastern Europe. Brilliance will start exporting a sedan to Germany and the Netherlands this May with an expected price tag of $26,000.

The Germans are known for their flare when it comes to automobile design. German design and engineering company EDAG have recently unveiled their latest concept the LUV taking design queues from maritime, like the wooden hood. Based on a high end SUV the LUV has an overall length of 5.7 metres, and is over 2metres wide and 1.8 metres high.

They might be spending alot of money, and arnt goin nowhere but i still have fait…

Subaru used the 2007 New York International Auto Show to debut the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX. This new model comes with a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four Boxer engine that delivers its maximum torque and horsepower earlier than the previous model, with 224 horsepower @ 5,200 rpm and 226 lb.-ft. of torque @ 2,800 rpm, a full 800 rpm earlier than the previous generation WRX.

Luxury cars and fantasy cars certainly have their place in the world, but so does practical, affordable transportation. High fuel prices in Europe long ago erased any disdain drivers there might have had for either compact cars or for used vehicles, but Americans are still struggling to overcome the sense that “used” and “junk” are synonyms.
